Montenegro announces new visa rules for Azerbaijani citizens

Montenegro has announced the necessary steps for Azerbaijani citizens to obtain visas to enter the Balkan country, head of the Montenegrin diplomatic office in Azerbaijan, Milica Burić, Olaylar informs.

According to her, for both tourist and work visas, Azerbaijani citizens will need to submit their applications through the VFS Global visa center.

"The Government of Montenegro has taken steps to ensure that everyone who wishes to visit and work in Montenegro can easily apply through the VFS Global platform in Azerbaijan. Information on the required documents and the application procedure can be found on the website of VFS Global Azerbaijan," Burić noted.

It should be noted that Montenegro introduced a visa regime for Azerbaijani citizens starting in January 2026.
