Mishustin, Pashinyan mull issues of Russia-Armenia relations

Armenia is committed to further developing relations with Russia, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in Yekaterinburg.

According to Russian media, cited by Olaylar, Pashinyan noted that the meeting is a good opportunity to discuss the full range of bilateral relations, Olaylar informs via Russian media.

"Some problematic issues have emerged recently. Of course, I hope we will discuss and resolve these issues. We are committed to a constructive approach to discussing and clarifying all issues and nuances, and I hope that as a result of todaychr("39")s talks, we will be able to resolve specific issues," Pashinyan stated.

He also noted that Armenia is also interested in joining the EAEU and "is interested in the mechanisms stipulated by the EAEU Treaty operating as planned."

For his part, Mishustin said that Moscow expects the new Armenian government, formed following the elections, to ensure the development of relations with Russia in the spirit of friendship and good-neighborliness.

"We hope that the new government, which will be formed following the voting and elections, will ensure the progressive development of Russian-Armenian relations in the spirit of friendship, good neighborliness, mutual respect, and consideration of mutual interests," Mishustin added.
