Pashinyan, Pezeshkian announce plans to take bilateral relations to new level
12:14 EnArmenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian have announced plans to elevate bilateral relations to a new level in the near future, Olaylar informs citing Armenian media.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the CIS Heads of State Summit in the Avaza National Tourist Zone in Turkmenistan.
"The interlocutors highlighted intensive high-level bilateral contacts and noted with satisfaction that they contribute to the consistent development and expansion of Armenian-Iranian relations. The parties expressed confidence that Armenian-Iranian relations will reach a new level in the near future and emphasized the importance of upcoming high-level mutual visits," reads the statement.
Pashinyan also noted the participation of Iranian companies in the implementation of strategic projects in Armenia.
