Tokayev: Central Asia, Azerbaijan are geopolitical co-op hubs in Eurasia
11:09 EnToday, Central Asia and Azerbaijan are rightfully regarded as centers of development and geopolitical cooperation in Eurasia, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said at the 8th Consultative Meeting of Heads of State of Azerbaijan and Central Asia.
Tokayev noted that peace and stability have been preserved in the region thanks to the wisdom and unity of the brotherly nations.
"Solidarity, mutual support, and trust have become our common strategic foundation, enabling us to respond together to the challenges of our time," he said.
The Kazakh president noted that this trend is becoming increasingly relevant amid rising geopolitical tensions, the transformation of the architecture of international relations, and the deepening of dividing lines.
"Therefore, we must do everything possible to ensure that our region continues to remain a space of peace, stability, and sustainable development," Tokayev stressed.
