Armenia and EU mull cooperation and peace process with Azerbaijan

Armenia has presented an EU delegation with steps to institutionalize peace with Azerbaijan and opportunities for regional cooperation, Olaylar informs, citing Armenian media.

The development was provided by Armeniachr("39")s Ministry of Foreign Affairs following a meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan and representatives of the European Councilchr("39")s Working Party on Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

The meeting addressed the Armenia-EU partnership agenda, implementation of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA), and the Strategic Partnership Agenda.

The sides also discussed security cooperation, the Connectivity Partnership and the Armenia-EU partnership program on transport infrastructure, including Armeniachr("39")s integration into regional transport networks.

During the meeting, the Armenian side presented steps toward institutionalizing peace with Azerbaijan and opportunities for regional cooperation that could emerge as a result of the establishment of peace.
