Perpetrators of war crimes against Azerbaijani population receive deserved punishment, Prosecutor General says

Individuals who committed war crimes against the Azerbaijani population have received well-deserved punishments based on court decisions, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev said at an event held at the Prosecutor Generalchr("39")s Office on the occasion of the 108th anniversary of the establishment of the Prosecutorchr("39")s Office of Azerbaijan and the professional holiday of prosecution employees, Olaylar informs.

He noted that the agencychr("39")s employees made every effort during both the hostilities and the post-war period to identify, investigate, and bring to public attention the facts of the damage inflicted by Armenian armed formations on the civilian population and infrastructure, as well as other crimes committed.

"The accused in these cases were handed down well-deserved punishments by the judicial authorities," Aliyev said.
