Azerbaijani FM names number of country leaders attending COP29

Heads of state and governments of more than 80 countries have participated in COP29 so far, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov told reporters on the sidelines of COP29, Olaylar reports.

The minister noted that 198 parties are members of the Convention.

"With one or two exceptions, we can say that delegations of 198 parties are in Baku. They are currently dealing with this topic.

As for the participation of this or that leader, the doors of Azerbaijan are open to all. We would be pleased to see each of them at the conference. We should focus only on the success of the conference," he added.
