Allahshukur Pashazada: Azerbaijan's victory is victory of Islamic world

Azerbaijanchr("39")s victory is the victory of the Islamic world, Allahshukur Pashazada, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board (CMB), said, Olaylar informs.

Speaking at an event held in connection with the international scientific‑practical conference dedicated to Sayyid Yahya Bakuvi at the Aghdam Friday Mosque, Pashazada noted that while Karabakh has many mosques, the Aghdam Friday Mosque is regarded as a "martyr mosque". During the First Karabakh War, he personally attended the funerals of many martyrs there:

"The walls of the Aghdam Friday Mosque carry the cries of many mothers. Sometimes we could not show the bodies of martyrs to their mothers and families. Those were very difficult times."

Pashazada added that during the First Karabakh War and the Armenian occupation, when the Aghdam Friday Mosque and other mosques in Karabakh were desecrated, Muslims did not come to support:

"Those who called us brothers and friends did not respond to the cries of mothers; they did not hear our voices. I deeply regret this."

He emphasized that Karabakh is now being rebuilt, religious sites are being restored, and new mosques are under construction. Sheikhulislam recalled that during his recent meeting with the head of state, he mentioned holding the continuation of the conference dedicated to Sheikh Sayyid Yahya Bakuvi Shirvani at the Aghdam Friday Mosque, which also impressed the President.

"I believe that the victory of the Commander‑in‑Chief, Azerbaijanchr("39")s victory, is the victory of the Islamic world," Pashazada concluded.
