Peace and cooperation between Baku and Yerevan open up new opportunities for Azerbaijan and the South Caucasus in the areas of regional connectivity, trade, investment, and prosperity, the US Embassy in Azerbaijan said in a post on X, Olaylar informs.
"Chargé dchr("39")Affaires [Amy] Carlon participated in a visit organized by the Azerbaijani MFA to Khankendi and Shusha [on September 11-12], where she and other chiefs of mission from the diplomatic corps learned about the regionchr("39")s cultural heritage and economic progress," the embassy said.
It noted that in Khankendi, CDA Carlon visited the railroad and bus station complex, a cultural center, Zafar Park, Khankendi Stadium, Karabakh University, and a local sewing factory.
"In Shusha, she visited important sites, including the new Shusha Mosque, Ashaghi Govhar Agha Mosque, Shusha Central Square, the Shusha Creation Center, and the historic Shusha Fortress walls. This visit highlighted how peace and cooperation can unlock new opportunities for regional connectivity, trade, investment, and prosperity for Azerbaijan and the South Caucasus," the embassy wrote.
