Foreign diplomats start another trip to Azerbaijan's Karabakh, Eastern Zangazur

Another trip to Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan has begun.

As Olaylar informs, the delegates are accompanied by Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, Hikmat Hajiyev.

The delegation includes 150 representatives from 58 countries and 9 international organizations.

During the trip, the diplomats will familiarize themselves with the large-scale restoration, reconstruction, and development projects being implemented in Khankandi and Shusha, as well as in the Aghdara and Kalbajar districts. In addition, they will visit social and economic infrastructure facilities and learn about the condition of the historical and cultural heritage, along with the ongoing work for its preservation and restoration.

This marks the 22nd visit by representatives of the diplomatic corps to the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation since 2020.
