Azerbaijan, Brazil discuss AZAL fleet renewal and aviation ties

Azerbaijan and Brazil have discussed the renewal of the fleet of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), expansion of its route network, and the development of bilateral cooperation in the aviation sector, AZAL Chairman Samir Rzayev said on social media, Olaylar informs.

The issues were discussed during a meeting between Rzayev and Brazilchr("39")s newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan, Bernard Jorg Leopoldo de Garcia Klingl.

"We also exchanged views on aircraft manufactured by Embraer, a company that holds an important position in Brazilchr("39")s aviation industry. The fact that our current fleet includes seven Embraer aircraft operating on regional and medium-haul routes is an indication of the practical ties already established between the two countries in this field," Rzayev said.

He also wished the ambassador success in his diplomatic activities in Azerbaijan and further achievements in his future work.
