King Harald, Norway's reform-minded head of state, dies at 89
Norwaychr("39")s King Harald, a reformer who emerged from the shadow of his well-loved father over more than three decades on the throne, has died aged 89, the royal palace said on Friday, Olaylar informs.
"It is with deep grief that we announce that His Majesty King Harald has passed away. King Harald died peacefully at Oslo University Hospital Rikshospitalet Friday 28 August at 6:35 AM," the Royal House of Norway said in a statement.
