Armenia, Iran mull long-term diesel fuel, liquefied gas supplies
15:32 EnArmenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan and Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Khalil Shirgholami have discussed prospects for long-term supplies of diesel fuel and liquefied gas during a meeting, Olaylar informs, citing Armenian media.
The sides discussed the development of Armenian-Iranian economic cooperation, expansion of trade turnover and investments, infrastructure, and business ties.
Papoyan raised the issue of expanding the presence of Armenian products on the Iranian market and making more effective use of the opportunities provided by the free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Iran.
Separately, the sides discussed cooperation in the fields of energy and logistics, including long-term supplies of diesel fuel and liquefied gas.
Papoyan proposed expanding interaction across several areas, including trade and Armenian exports, joint production and investments, energy and logistics, as well as the improvement of border procedures.
