Azerbaijan recalls ambassador to Sweden and three Nordic states

Zaur Ahmadov has been recalled from his post as Azerbaijanchr("39")s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Sweden, as well as to Denmark, Finland and Norway.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a corresponding order.

Under another presidential order, Elnur Sultanov was appointed Azerbaijanchr("39")s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Sweden.

Sultanov has served as Azerbaijanchr("39")s ambassador to Latvia since 2021.
