Azerbaijan may export pomegranate juice to Dominican Republic
13:29 EnAzexport, an online export portal operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, has issued another set of free-sale certificates, Olaylar informs, citing the center.
The certificates were issued for pomegranate juice produced in Azerbaijan in 200- and 1,000-milliliter packages and intended for export to the Dominican Republic.
Free-sale certificates are issued in accordance with the relevant decree signed by the President of Azerbaijan on September 12, 2017. The certificate confirms that an exported product is in free circulation in Azerbaijan, has been certified by relevant state authorities and institutions, and meets applicable standards.
Obtaining the certificate facilitates the entry of Azerbaijani products into new and promising markets such as the Caribbean, contributing to the expansion of the countrychr("39")s export geography. Entry into the Dominican market also demonstrates the competitiveness and high quality of Azerbaijani products on the global market.
Overall, free-sale certificates have been issued for 773 types of products from April 2018 through June 2026.
The certificates help businesses expand access to foreign markets, support the growth of non-oil exports and promote the Made in Azerbaijan brand.
Entrepreneurs seeking a free-sale certificate can apply through the Azexport portal.
