Azerbaijan's State Social Protection Fund expenditures rise over 10%

In the first half of 2026, the expenditures of Azerbaijanchr("39")s State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population increased significantly, Olaylar informs, citing the fund.

Compared to the same period last year, spending rose by 380 million manats (just over $223.5 million), representing a growth of 10.2%. As a result, total expenditures surpassed 4 billion manats (approximately $2.353 billion).

According to the data, 97% of expenditures for the six-month period were directed to payments to the population.
