Azerbaijani population grows by 0.1%

Since the beginning of the year, Azerbaijanchr("39")s population has increased by 9,287 people, or 0.1%, reaching 10,271,638 as of June 1, 2026, Olaylar informs, citing the countrychr("39")s State Statistical Committee.

The data shows that 54.3% of the population lives in urban areas, while 45.7% reside in rural settlements. Men account for 49.8% of the population and women for 50.2%.
