Erdoğan gifts Trump special golden revolver at NATO summit

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan gifted Donald Trump a personalized golden revolver and a set of ammunition during Trumpchr("39")s visit to Ankara for last weekchr("39")s NATO summit, several sources told the Middle East Eye, Olaylar informs.

The sources noted that Erdoğan presented similar personalized revolvers to all NATO leaders attending the summit, but Trumpchr("39")s version was distinguished by its gold plating.

The gift was given against the backdrop of noticeably closer relations between Erdoğan and Trump.

The 36th NATO summit of heads of state and government was held in Ankara on July 7-8, 2026. This marked the second time Türkiye hosted the alliancechr("39")s summit, the first being in Istanbul in 2004.
