Ilham Aliyev approves Azerbaijan, Georgia gas supply agreement

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree approving the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Georgia on the Supply of Natural Gas to Georgia,"  Olaylar informs.

Under the decree, after the agreement enters into force, the Ministry of Economy will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of its provisions. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will notify the Georgian government that the necessary domestic procedures required for the agreement to take effect have been completed.

The agreement was signed in Baku on May 18, 2026.
