Azerbaijan, Jordan hold political consultations in Baku

The next round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Jordan has been held in Baku, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said, Olaylar informs.

Speaking at a press briefing with Jordanchr("39")s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, Bayramov said that during both one-on-one and expanded-format meetings, the sides discussed all areas of bilateral relations.

"We expressed satisfaction with the current state of relations and particularly noted that the close and sincere contacts between the leaders of the two countries form the foundation of these ties. Relations between the foreign ministries of both countries are also at a high level," he said.

Bayramov added that the two countries had signed two important agreements and that additional agreements covering various fields are expected to be signed in the near future.
