Azerbaijan treasury processes over 624,000 payments in H1

Azerbaijanchr("39")s treasury authorities processed more than 624,000 payment orders in the first half of 2026, down 9.6% compared with the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Finance.

During the January-June period, consolidated budget revenues totaled 24.41 billion manats, up 0.2% year on year, while expenditures increased 1.2% to 19.82 billion manats.

State budget revenues reached 19.18 billion manats, exceeding both the same period last year by 3.15% and the forecast by 1.9%. State budget expenditures amounted to 16.78 billion manats, down 1.9% year on year and 2.6% below the projected level.

As a result, Azerbaijan recorded a consolidated budget surplus of 4.59 billion manats and a state budget surplus of 2.4 billion manats in the first six months of the year.
