Pashinyan: Construction of power lines with Azerbaijan and Türkiye to strengthen Armenia's energy security

The construction of power transmission lines with Azerbaijan and Türkiye will help strengthen Armeniachr("39")s energy security, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a joint press conference with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in Yerevan.

Pashinyan said that alongside the restoration of regional transport links, expanding energy connectivity, including with Türkiye and Azerbaijan, is also important.

"This includes the construction of power transmission lines and interconnectors, which could contribute to both energy security and the green transition," he said.
