Baku hosts panel discussion on prospects of Turkic history and ideological approaches

A panel discussion titled "Perspectives on Turkic history and ideological approaches" was held in Baku as part of Turkic World Week, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkology Congress.

The discussion was moderated by Member of Parliament and Doctor of Philology Elnara Akimova.

During the event, participants reviewed the history of Turkic statehood and thought, discussed scientific approaches to different periods of Turkic history, and examined the role of ideological perspectives in historiography, among other topics.

Speakers included Eva-Maria Aux, Head of the Department of History at Humboldt University of Berlin, Professor Ahmet Taşğın from Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University, Director of the Caucasus History Center Rizvan Huseynov, as well as other Turkology scholars.

The event concluded with a question-and-answer session.
