Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan discuss strategic partnership

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan said the sides discussed the current state and prospects of their strategic partnership, as well as cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats.

The ministers emphasized the importance of continued coordination on multilateral platforms, highlighting mutual support and joint engagement within international and regional organizations.

The conversation also covered initiatives linked to Azerbaijanchr("39")s chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).

Bayramov noted Kazakhstanchr("39")s high-level participation in the Turkic World Week dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkological Congress, describing it as an important contribution to strengthening solidarity within the Turkic world.
