Minister: Azerbaijan to allocate nearly AZN2 billion for agriculture

Azerbaijanchr("39")s state budget will allocate nearly 2 billion manats (approximately $1.2 billion) for the implementation of the State Program on the Development of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Aquaculture Production and Processing for 2026-2030, Finance Minister Sahil Babayev said at todaychr("39")s session of the Milli Majlis, held to discuss the draft law on the execution of the 2025 state budget, Olaylar informs.

Babayev emphasized that agriculture is one of the priority sectors of the non‑oil economy and receives significant state support each year through subsidies, concessions, and other instruments.
