International conference on issue of missing persons underway in Baku

An international conference dedicated to the issue of missing persons is being held in Baku in cooperation with the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons and the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP).

The event focuses on the theme "Enhancing Cooperation and Advancing Modern Approaches in Addressing the Issue of Missing Persons."

Participants of the conference include the Secretary of the State Commission and Head of the Working Group Gazanfar Ahmadov, Deputy Head of the State Security Service Lieutenant General Sharafat Hasanov, Director-General of the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) Kathryne Bomberger, Deputy Foreign Minister and Commission member Elnur Mammadov, Director of the Association of Forensic Medical Examination and Pathological Anatomy Adalat Hasanov, Head of the Main Military Medical Department of the State Security Service Major General of Medical Service Rufat Aliyev, as well as members of parliament and other officials.
