Azerbaijan, Russia's Astrakhan region discuss expanding economic ties

Azerbaijanchr("39")s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said he met Denis Afanasyev, Vice‑Governor and Chairman of the Government of Russiachr("39")s Astrakhan Region, to discuss ways of strengthening regional economic relations, Olaylar informs.

Jabbarov said in a post on X that the talks covered cooperation in industry, trade, transport, logistics, humanitarian affairs and other fields.

"We also highlighted the importance of strengthening business platforms to further deepen ties between our business communities," Jabbarov said.
