Head of ASAN Service attends UN Public Service Forum in Tbilisi

A delegation led by Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan, is on a visit to Georgia to participate in the UN Public Service Forum in Tbilisi.

The delegation first paid tribute to the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev by visiting his monument.

Mehdiyev then attended the opening ceremony of the forum, dedicated to the theme "Transforming Institutions: Advancing Innovation, Participation, and Inclusion." The event was attended by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs Li Junhua, and senior officials from various countries.

Within the framework of the forum, Mehdiyev held bilateral meetings with ministers from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, as well as Georgiachr("39")s Minister of Justice. During these meetings, detailed information was presented on the ASAN Service model and its achievements. Sri Lanka and Bangladesh expressed interest in applying the model in their own countries.

In his meeting with Georgiachr("39")s Justice Minister, Mehdiyev congratulated the host country on the successful organization of the forum and discussed prospects for mutual cooperation.
