20th Session of PUIC Conference underway in Baku

The 20th Session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States is being held in Baku, Olaylar informs.

Speakers and deputy speakers of parliaments from OIC member states, as well as representatives of international organizations, are expected to address the opening ceremony.

The session has brought together parliamentary delegations from more than 40 countries, speakers of parliament from over 10 states, and representatives of 10 international organizations. The main theme of the discussions is "Promoting Sustainable and Inclusive Economic Development in OIC Member States through Parliamentary Cooperation."

More than 400 participants are expected to attend the event.

The sessionchr("39")s agenda includes meetings of the organizationchr("39")s General Committee and Executive Committee, the Association of Secretaries General, as well as committees on political affairs and international relations, economic affairs and the environment, legal and cultural affairs, dialogue among civilizations and religions, human rights, and women and family issues.

Participants will review and discuss the documents included on the agenda.

The session will conclude on June 25.
