Shavkat Mirziyoyev presents Mehnat Shuhrati Order to Azerbaijani envoy

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Azerbaijanchr("39")s Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Huseyn Guliyev, whose diplomatic mission in the country has concluded, discussed the future development of strategic partnership and allied relations between the two nations, Olaylar informs, referring to the Press Service of the Uzbek President.

Mirziyoyev highlighted the Azerbaijani diplomatchr("39")s effective work and personal contribution to strengthening bilateral cooperation.

In recognition of his significant role in enhancing Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan relations, Mirziyoyev awarded Huseyn Guliyev the Mehnat Shuhrati Order (Order of Labor Glory).

The Azerbaijani ambassador, in turn, expressed gratitude to the Uzbek leader for valuing his diplomatic mission and supporting the expansion of large-scale cooperation between the two countries.

It was also noted that intensive dialogue has been established at the highest and other levels. Considerable progress has been achieved in trade and economic cooperation, with trade turnover multiplying in recent years. Around 280 enterprises have been established with Azerbaijani capital, and a joint investment company has been founded. Projects in geology, agriculture, transport, urban planning, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and other fields are actively underway. Significant programs are also being implemented in cultural and humanitarian exchange.
