Azerbaijan, Italy discuss new directions of cultural cooperation

Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Adil Karimli met with his Italian counterpart Alessandro Giuli in Rome, Azerbaijanchr("39")s Culture Ministry told Olaylar.

The meeting focused on the current state of cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Italy and prospects for further cooperation.

Discussions covered joint projects in heritage preservation, museum work, creative industries, cinema, music, and performing arts, as well as expanding collaboration among cultural institutions.

Karimli informed his colleague about Azerbaijanchr("39")s cultural policy priorities, initiatives to strengthen cultural diplomacy, and efforts to broaden international partnerships.

The sides exchanged views on organizing joint cultural days, exhibitions, concert programs, professional exchange projects, and deepening institutional cooperation in the cultural sphere.

Both ministers reaffirmed their mutual interest in developing cultural cooperation in new directions and implementing joint initiatives.

A plan of measures for the implementation of cultural projects was also discussed during the meeting.
