Ali Ahmadov: Humanitarian co-op strengthening trust between Azerbaijan, Russia
11:47 EnCooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia in science, education, and healthcare is steadily developing and serves the shared interests of both countries, First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Ali Ahmadov said at the 24th meeting of the Interparliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the Azerbaijani Parliament and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Olaylar informs.
According to Ahmadov, partnerships between higher education institutions, the implementation of dual degree programs, and the expansion of student academic mobility are important areas of bilateral cooperation.
He noted that the activities of branches of Russian universities in Azerbaijan, in particular the Lomonosov Moscow State University and the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, play a special role in strengthening educational ties.
"Discussion of these issues will be an important factor in the further development of interparliamentary dialogue, strengthening humanitarian cooperation, expanding scientific and educational exchanges, and deepening cooperation in healthcare," the first deputy speaker emphasized.
Ali Ahmadov added that the consistent development of cooperation in these areas strengthens trust between the professional communities of the two countries and creates a solid foundation for the further expansion of the partnership between Azerbaijan and Russia.
