The Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group have officially commenced in Baku under the patronage of Ilham Aliyev.

The major international event has brought together representatives from dozens of countries to discuss key issues related to sustainable development and the strengthening of regional cooperation.

The Annual Meetings are being held under the theme "Regional Integration for Sustainable Prosperity." Policymakers, development experts, and financial sector leaders from the 57 member countries of the Islamic Development Bank and other nations are participating in the forum. The IsDB is a AAA-rated multilateral development institution serving the Global South.
