Students and teachers from Zarifa Aliyeva Lyceum in Irpin arrive in Azerbaijan

A group of students and teachers from the Lingvist Humanitarian Lyceum named after Zarifa Aliyeva in Irpin, Ukraine, has arrived in Azerbaijan.

Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuriy Husyev said on social media that the trip was organized at the invitation of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).

During the visit, the Ukrainian schoolchildren will travel to Baku, Gabala, Shaki, and Zagatala, where they will get acquainted with Azerbaijanchr("39")s cultural heritage, traditions, and modern development.

"Such initiatives make an important contribution to strengthening friendly ties between Ukraine and Azerbaijan and create new opportunities for Ukrainian children for development, recreation, and intercultural dialogue," he said.

The diplomat also thanked SOCAR and Azerbaijani partners for their support for Ukraine and care for Ukrainian children.
