Hakan Fidan: Azerbaijan and Armeniachr("39")s will for peace important for entire region

Türkiye considers the political will demonstrated by Azerbaijan and Armenia in the peace process an important factor in ensuring stability throughout the region, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said at a press conference following the 10th meeting of the foreign ministers of Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, Olaylar informs.

He noted that Türkiye supports the peace process between the two countries.

The minister also emphasized that as peace in the South Caucasus strengthens, interstate ties will also strengthen.

"At todaychr("39")s talks, we reaffirmed that stability, peace, and prosperity in the South Caucasus should be built on the foundation of sincere and constructive cooperation. The region should be associated not with conflicts, but with projects for development, prosperity, and connectivity, and we are working in precisely this direction. The peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia gives us hope for achieving these goals," Fidan added.
