Bayramov сongratulates Kyrgyzstan on election to UN Security Council

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with his Kyrgyz counterpart, Jeenbek Kulubaev.

According to Azerbaijanchr("39")s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bayramov congratulated his colleague on Kyrgyzstanchr("39")s election by an overwhelming majority of votes as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.

The sides emphasized the importance of mutual support on regional and multilateral platforms, including within the framework of the UN Security Council, and expressed satisfaction with the current level of strategic partnership between the two countries.

The ministers also discussed prospects for developing cooperation in the political, economic, humanitarian, and other fields, as well as a number of bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
