Cristofoli: Oil price fluctuations do not affect BP's investment plans

Cristofoli told journalists on the sidelines of Baku Energy Week that oil prices in 2026 have risen higher than forecast, but this has not influenced the companychr("39")s investment plans.

"BP makes investment decisions not based on short-term price fluctuations, but on a long-term capital allocation strategy. We operate within a capital budget set at the beginning of the year. Therefore, changes in oil prices do not alter our investment plans," Cristofoli said.
