Azerbaijan, US discuss cooperation prospects

Azerbaijan and the United States have discussed cooperation prospects in the fields of digitalization and transport, Olaylar informs, citing the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan.

In this context, Azerbaijani Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev met with a delegation led by Caleb Orr, Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Economic, Energy and Business Affairs of the United States.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on cooperation in digitalization and transport, the expansion of the regulatory framework in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, and partnership opportunities with US government agencies and companies for the construction of a data center in Azerbaijan.

Discussions also covered the expansion of the Middle Corridor, the development of the Zangazur Corridor, and the potential involvement of US companies in these processes.
