Mauritius President tours Icherisheher in Baku

The President of Mauritius, Daramber Gokhool, visited Icherisheher in Baku, the State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration of Icherisheher, told Olaylar.

The Mauritian delegation toured several landmarks, including the Maiden Tower, the Palace of the Shirvanshahs Complex, the Bukhara Caravanserai, and other historical-architectural monuments.

The visitors were provided with detailed information about Icherisheherchr("39")s place on the UNESCO World Heritage List, ongoing projects for the preservation and transmission of historical-cultural heritage to future generations, as well as collaboration with the local community and artisans.

President Daramber Gokhool traveled to Azerbaijan to participate in the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku.
