Azerbaijan and Türkiye mull economic prospects

The Azerbaijani delegation is on a visit to Türkiye, Olaylar informs.

According to the Ministry of Economy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the visit was jointly organized by Azerbaijanchr("39")s Trade Representation in Türkiye, the Ministry of Economy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and Azerbaijanchr("39")s Consulate General in Kars.

Within the framework of the visit program, a meeting was held with the Governor of Iğdır, Mustafa Fırat Tasolar.

During the meeting, the current state and future development prospects of economic cooperation between the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and Türkiye were discussed. The contributions that the Zangazur corridor would make to the future economic development of the region were also addressed.

Within the framework of the visit program, the delegation also held a number of meetings in the city of Kars. During the meetings held with the Governor of Kars, Ziya Polat, and the Mayor of Kars, Otuken Senger, discussions were conducted on the expansion of economic and trade relations, mutual investment opportunities, and cooperation issues.

Subsequently, a meeting was held with Kadir Bozan, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kars Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and businesspeople operating in Kars. During the meeting, information was provided about tax, customs, and social insurance incentives offered to entrepreneurs in Nakhchivan, Nakhchivanchr("39")s export opportunities, and prospects for joint cooperation.

In accordance with the visit program, the next meetings and events will be held in Istanbul and Izmir.
