Fuad Karimli: Global South must be heard worldwide

The main goal of the Global South NGO Platform (GSNP) is to ensure that the voice of the Global South resonates globally, Fuad Karimli, Secretary‑General of GSNP, stated at the GSNPchr("39")s First General Assembly.

Karimli noted that despite limited resources, the Global South Asia Platform has already gained recognition in major international arenas:

"The UN Office for South‑South Cooperation has acknowledged and supported our work. Moving forward, we plan to strengthen the headquarters and, through the deputies of the Secretary‑General and partner organizations, initiate major conferences, political dialogues, regional forums, and capacity‑building programs. Our aim is not only to participate in global discussions but also to create our own platforms, shape our agendas, and ensure that the voice of the Global South resonates worldwide."
