Saudi Arabia aims to expand international cooperation and exchange experience in urban development and community planning as part of its participation in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
According to a statement of the countrychr("39")s Ministry of Municipalities and Housing posted on X and cited by Olaylar, the Saudi delegationchr("39")s active participation in WUF13, which will be held in Baku, is intended to strengthen global cooperation and share expertise in urban development and community building.
The ministry noted that the delegation will include representatives from government institutions, municipal authorities, development programs, the housing sector, as well as educational and specialized organizations.
It will also comprise regional administrators, officials involved in urban development and housing initiatives, experts in improving quality of life, and specialists in investment, infrastructure, and real estate.
In addition, members of humanitarian initiatives and Saudi universities are also expected to join the delegation.
WUF13 will take place in Baku from May 17-22. The forum is being organized in close cooperation between Azerbaijan and UN-Habitat and focuses on the exchange of international experience in sustainable urban development, smart cities, and innovative urban solutions.
