Azerbaijan has seen dynamic growth for 23 years, parliament speaker says

Azerbaijan has experienced a period of dynamic and comprehensive development over the past 23 years, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova said during todaychr("39")s plenary session of parliament, Olaylar informs.

Gafarova stated that Azerbaijanchr("39")s political and military potential has significantly increased during this period, contributing to the resolution of major national issues.

She noted that under the leadership of the victorious Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan achieved victory in the 44-day Patriotic War and the anti-terror operations.

According to the speaker, these achievements were the result of the development strategy initiated by national leader Heydar Aliyev and successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.

"Heydar Aliyevchr("39")s return to power in June 1993 and his activity as chairman of the Azerbaijani parliament helped elevate the country to a new stage of development. Through the efforts of the head of state, Heydar Aliyevchr("39")s political legacy has become part of the treasury of world political history, and his ideas continue to live on in the actions of current and future generations," Gafarova said.
