Syria to send delegation to WUF13

Syria will send a delegation to participate in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), which will take place in Baku from May 17 to 22.

The issue of preparing the visit was discussed between Azerbaijan and Syria, as both sides coordinated arrangements for the Syrian delegationchr("39")s participation in the forum, according to the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Syria, cited by Olaylar.

"Acting Chargé dchr("39")Affaires of Azerbaijan in Damascus Elnur Shahhuseynov held a productive meeting with the Governor of Damascus Maher Edlibi ahead of the Syrian delegationchr("39")s visit to Baku to participate in WUF13," the statement said.

The World Urban Forum (WUF13) is being organized in close cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UN-Habitat. The forum aims to facilitate the exchange of international experience in sustainable urban development, smart cities, and innovative urban solutions.
