Elchin Amirbayov holds series of meetings in UK

Elchin Amirbayov, Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan, has held a series of meetings in the United Kingdom, Olaylar informs, citing Azerbaijanchr("39")s Embassy in the UK.

Amirbayov met with Barbara Woodward, Deputy National Security Adviser to the British Prime Minister; Ed Llewellyn, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Officechr("39")s Political Director; Jonathan Allen, Director for Defense and Security Affairs; Christopher Allan, Director, Eastern Europe and Central Asia at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office; Nusrat Ghani, Senior Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons; Bob Blackman, head of the UK-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group; as well as several other members of parliament.

At the same time, Amirbayov made a speech at a roundtable held at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, attended by experts, researchers, and representatives of academic circles.

He also gave interviews to the influential publications The Guardian and Daily Express.
