Turkish police detain people involved in sales of fake gold
3 Oktyabr 2018 12:30 EnTurkish police conducted a special operation in the countrychr("39")s Bartin Province to apprehend a gang that was involved in sales of fake gold, Turkish media reported.
Six people engaged in selling counterfeit gold, worth about 700,000 Turkish liras, were detained during the operation.
Fake gold coins and firearms were found during the search in the detaineeschr("39") apartments.
Other details of the operation were not disclosed.
Recently, in Istanbul, another special operation was conducted, as a result of which a group of 417 people was detained on charges of illegal remittances to the US.
It is also reported that the money was mainly transferred to the Iranians living in the US.
