Azerbaijan’s Interior Ministry: 2 dead, 41 injured as bus collides with train in Baku

On Oct. 1, a road accident occurred in the Bina settlement of Khazar district of Baku, as a result of which 43 people were hospitalized, and two of them, Shakir Aliyev and Yusif Dadashzade, died, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry said in a message Oct. 2.

An investigation is underway by the Main Transport Police Department of Baku.

On Oct. 1, at around 14:00 (GMT +4), a Daewoo bus collided with an electric locomotive moving at a guarded railway crossing.
