Erdogan: German business delegation to visit Turkey

A German business delegation will visit Turkey on October 25, Turkish media reported citing the countrychr("39")s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Oct. 1.

According to the president, opportunities and prospects for strengthening economic relations between Germany and Turkey will be discussed during the meeting.

The president also noted that a new page will be opened in Turkish-German relations.

According to the Turkish Institute of Statistics (TUİK), Turkish exports to Germany amounted to $1.118 billion while Turkeychr("39")s imports from Germany amounted to $1.277 billion.

The Turkish president paid a visit to Germany on Sept. 28, during which he met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
