Foreign Ministers of India and China meet in Moscow

External Affairs Minister of India Dr. S. Jaishankar held a detailed discussion with the State Councilor and Foreign Minister of China Wang Yi in Moscow on 10 September 2020 on the current tensions in the India-China border areas. During the meeting which lasted for two and half hours Indian Foreign Minister underlined that since the resumption of Ambassadorial level relations in 1976 and holding of boundary talks since 1981, India-China relations have developed on a largely positive trajectory. While there have been incidents from time to time, peace and tranquility has largely prevailed in the border areas.

Embassy of India, Baku, Azerbaijan celebrated the Teachers Day on September 07 through an online event. This is the first time when Government of India started a campaign to honor the Indian Teachers and Teachers of Indian origin who are teaching across the world. Azerbaijan has 11 Indian teachers who are engaged in quality skill development among the children and young ones of Azerbaijan in shaping their bright future. Starting from the primary schools to higher secondary schools, Indian teachers are engaged in various schools in Azerbaijan.

California radio discusses Armenia’s latest military provocation against Azerbaijan and other related issues

American journalist Raoul Lowery Contreras dedicated the September edition of his radio program “The Contreras Report” to Armenia’s latest military provocation against Azerbaijan, recent Russian weapons deliveries to Armenia, the notorious Armenian lobby's anti-American activities, the July 21 assaults by Armenian radical dashnaks on Azerbaijani-Americans in Los Angeles and other issues. Contreras is the author of the books “Murder in the Mountains: War Crime in Khojaly and the Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict” and “The Armenian Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy”.
