Speaker: Azerbaijan has strengthened its economic independence under Ilham Aliyev's leadership

Under President Ilham Aliyevchr("39")s leadership, Azerbaijanchr("39")s economic independence has strengthened as the leading state in the South Caucasus, Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis, said at todaychr("39")s plenary meeting of parliament, Olaylar informs.

Gafarova highlighted that the state budget under discussion will serve to further enhance the countrychr("39")s economic opportunities and implement the Great Return state program:

"The diversification of the economy continues successfully. A new economic model based on innovations is being formed in Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur. In an environment of intensifying global challenges, our country has ensured growth in revenues, strengthening of financial resources, and development of the non-oil sector."
